MARTIN JAMES BARTLETT
RHAPSODY: RACHMANINOFF, GERSHWIN
The standout British pianist Martin James Bartlett—at only 25 years old—recorded his second album on the Warner Classics label. Hear two of the virtuosic concertos from the art deco period—Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and Rachmaninoff's Variations on a Theme of Paganini. There are numerous shorter works on the album, too, by these composers or arranged by Earl Wild.
MITSUKO UCHIDA
BEETHOVEN: DIABELLI VARATIONS
This legend has done it again with Beethoven's Diabelli Variations that you will find incessantly beautiful enough to play every morning while sipping some Earl Grey.
DANIEL BARENBOIM
