Angela Hewitt is a leading Bach interpreter, performing her works all over the world. But like any renowned pianist, she performs so much more, including many of the classical music masters.
Watch her perform Debussy’s famous "Clair de Lune" for the Royal Conservatory of Music at Toronto's Koerner Hall.
Angela’s performance carries such depth and emotion, it brings you to tears. The title means “moonlight” in French, which is appropriate as it evokes water dancing under the light of the moon, with soft sways and gentle spins. Angela elicits this sensation to the audience with her beautiful performance.
Ms. Hewitt will be giving a FREE master class at 10am on SAT / MAY 4 at Lewis & Clark College: Flanagan Chapel. In one-on-one sessions, Angela will openly share the insight gained from a life devoted to piano study and performance with advanced piano students.
If you can’t wait to hear her live, we still have some limited availability for her concert on FRI / MAY 3. With only 15 tickets left, grab your tickets now! We have a waiting list for her SUN / MAY 5 performance.
Plus, don’t miss our pre-concert conversations happening at 6:45-7:15pm Friday and 3:15-3:45pm Sunday in Lincoln Hall with our Director of Audience Engagement, Bill Crane.
