On SUN / FEB 24, two excellent concert pianists, Shai Wosner and Orion Weiss, will combine their talents into a masterpiece of an evening as part of our collaboration with Chamber Music Northwest. This stunning program will be the first-ever concert in the acoustically superb Temple Beth Israel, considered one of the finest examples of Byzantine-style architecture on the West Coast.
In anticipation for this amazing night, get a taste of Orion Weiss’ exacting skill and collaborative work as he plays Brahms and Schumann with his mentor Emanuel Ax at Mostly Mozart Festival in New York (video above).
At the upcoming FEB 24 performance, Wosner and Weiss will be playing Brahms and Schubert, in addition to David Lang.
DON’T FORGET: At this special duo concert, there will be a pre-concert performance of David Schiff’s Six Songs without Words by local pianists.
