Tholen Fellows Project

What is the Tholen Fellows Project?

Now in its third year, the Tholen Fellows Project offers piano teachers in different regions of the state a potentially transformative professional development experience – the opportunity to study with a renowned teacher. Tholen Fellows will receive one-on-one lessons and coaching on six separate occasions for two years. Each session will consist of three hours of instruction that includes a private lesson and an optional 1-hour coaching session with the teacher and his/ her student.

Each Tholen Fellow will also receive free access to summer activities and SOLO Piano Series performances. Travel and lodging will be covered through the fellowship.

The Tholen Fellows Project is funded through the Nellie Tholen Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation.
