Masterclass: Cohen on Concerti
So how does a pianist learn to perform a concerto without the help of an orchestra? The solution is to find another talented pianist to play the transcription of the orchestra part. In this special masterclass, Maestro Cohen works with Young Artist in Residence Hanna Yukho on Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in B flat minor, op. 23. Another Young Artist in Residence, Henry Kramer, will play the orchestra part.
